Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching in a Primary School setting.
• Be comfortable supporting across the key stages.
• Be committed to delivering engaging, inclusive lessons.
• Show excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Be a team player with a reflective, proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Stay up to date with educational research and policies through training, workshops, and reading, while actively implementing all school and local authority initiatives.
• Promote a positive school culture by modelling excellent teaching practice, motivating staff, and representing the school in meetings with governors and external networks.
• Deliver a high-quality, inclusive curriculum that challenges all pupils and supports progress in core and non-core subjects using preset work.
• Monitor pupil progress closely, using data to identify and implement effective interventions that close learning gaps and raise achievement.
• Collaborate regularly with colleagues and parents to support individual learning needs and communicate curriculum developments.
