Job summary

Supply Desk Ltd in Windsor is partnering with a welcoming primary school to appoint a passionate PPA Teacher. The role covers EYFS, KS1 and KS2 with flexible full-time or part-time options, delivering high-quality lessons and providing essential release time for class teachers.

You will cover PPA time, adapt lessons and support pupils across year groups within a collaborative, inclusive learning environment. January start with ongoing CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• QTS desirable
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and KS1/KS2 curricula
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Flexible, adaptable and confident teaching across different year groups
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, in line with the National Curriculum
• Provide high-quality cover for teachers during PPA time
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet needs of pupils across key stages
• Create a positive, inclusive, stimulating classroom environment
• Support pupils with a range of abilities, including those with SEN
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
• Assess and provide feedback on pupils’ progress where appropriate
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, parents and carers
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school team

PPA Teacher (Full-Time/Part-Time) Windsor| Primary School Setting

Supply Desk is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Windsor to appoint a passionate and adaptable PPA Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative school community, delivering high-quality teaching across a range of year groups while providing valuable release time for class teachers.

This role would suit an enthusiastic and motivated teacher with a broad understanding of the primary curriculum, excellent classroom management skills, and a flexible approach to teaching across different phases.

The Role

As a PPA Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining high standards of teaching and behaviour. You will play a key role in supporting pupils’ progress while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – desirable
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and/or KS1 and KS2 curricula
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Flexible, adaptable, and confident teaching across different year groups
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Desirable

• Previous experience in a PPA or cover teaching role
• Experience teaching across multiple key stages
• Experience supporting children with SEN
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Commitment to inclusive, high-quality teaching and learning
