Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming primary school in Wellingborough that is seeking a confident and adaptable PPA Cover Teacher to join their team for an immediate start. This role involves delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 during PPA time, maintaining a positive learning environment and supporting pupils’ progress.

The position is full-time and long-term, with pay up to £160 per day PAYE.

Responsibilities

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Adapt your approach to suit different year groups and pupils' learning needs.
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and make progress with their learning.
• Work collaboratively with class teachers and other school staff.
• Provide feedback on pupil engagement, behaviour and lesson outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS, although this is desirable rather than essential
• Has previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting

• Is reliable, organised and flexible
• Builds positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Is committed to supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing
