Smart Teachers is recruiting a dedicated PPA Teacher in Ealing, West London, to cover the October half-term break through to the end of the academic year. The role involves delivering planned lessons across multiple primary year groups while class teachers have planning time.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have primary classroom experience, and demonstrate strong behaviour management, adaptability and collaborative working with staff to maintain high-quality teaching and pupil progress.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Is confident delivering lessons across different year groups and curriculum subjects.
• Demonstrates strong behaviour management and classroom organisation.
• Is flexible, reliable and able to adapt quickly to new classes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons across different primary year groups during teachers' PPA time.
• Follow lesson plans and ensure learning objectives are met.
• Adapt teaching approaches to suit pupils' individual needs and abilities.
• Maintain strong classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
• Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Ensure continuity of learning and minimise disruption to pupils' routines.
• Work collaboratively with class teachers, teaching assistants and senior leaders.
• Provide feedback to class teachers regarding pupil engagement and progress.
• Follow school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour procedures.
