Job summary

Heart of Supply is recruiting a KS2 PPA Teacher for a large junior school in Lincoln from September to December 2026. As a Key Stage 2 PPA Teacher, you will provide PPA cover across KS2, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring continuity of learning while class teachers undertake planning, preparation and assessment.

Qualifications

• QTS and recent UK primary teaching experience.
• Ability to teach across KS2 year groups.
• Positive, engaging teaching style and strong relationships.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons while maintaining high standards.
• Excellent communication and organisation; flexible approach.
• At least 6 weeks' teaching experience in a UK primary school.

Role: KS2 PPA Teacher - Lincoln

Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full-time, long-term position from September - December 2026

Salary: £125 - £145 per day, pro rata (depending on experience, role and/or qualifications)

About the role

Heart of Supply is recruiting a KS2 PPA Teacher for a large junior school in Lincoln from September to December 2026.

As a Key Stage 2 PPA Teacher, you will provide PPA cover across KS2, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring continuity of learning while class teachers undertake planning, preparation and assessment.

We're looking for a confident and adaptable Primary Teacher who can teach across different KS2 year groups, manage behaviour positively and quickly build relationships with pupils and staff.

This KS2 PPA Teacher role would suit an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop their primary teaching experience.

What you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent experience teaching within a UK primary school.
• Confidence teaching across Key Stage Two, with the ability to adapt to different year groups.
• A positive, engaging teaching style and the ability to build strong relationships quickly with pupils and colleagues.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, creating a calm, purposeful and inclusive learning environment.
• The ability to confidently deliver pre-planned lessons while maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive and flexible approach to school life.
• A minimum of 6 weeks' teaching experience within a UK primary school.
