Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Primary PPA Cover Teacher for Hall Green, Birmingham. The role runs 3 days per week from January 2027, with ongoing duties across KS1 and KS2, predominantly KS2.

There is no planning workload, enabling you to focus on delivering high-quality teaching and fostering strong pupil–staff relationships. You’ll join a supportive school environment, rated Good by Ofsted, with a welcoming team and community feel.

Responsibilities

The Role

This exciting PPA Cover Teacher position is available immediately, working 3 days per week and continuing throughout the academic year.

You’ll be teaching across a range of year groups — with most cover in Key Stage 2 — delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that keep pupils motivated and on track.

Best of all, there’s no planning or preparation required, so you can focus entirely on delivering excellent teaching and building positive relationships with pupils and staff.
