Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a PPA Cover Teacher for a Nottingham primary school. The role is short-term and part-time, covering 2 days per week across all year groups. You will deliver engaging lessons, manage behaviours, and adapt confidently between classes.

The successful candidate will hold QTS (ECTs welcome) and have experience in UK primary settings with strong classroom management. This position is paid PAYE with on-going support from consultants and access to CPD courses.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS (ECTs welcome) and be eligible to work in UK primary schools.
• Experience teaching across different primary year groups in a UK setting.
• Excellent classroom management and ability to adapt teaching to different classes.

The school is looking to take on a PPA Cover Teacher on a short-term, part-time basis, working 2 days per week and covering classes across all primary year groups. The successful PPA Cover Teacher will be expected to deliver engaging lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively and adapt confidently between different classes.

The successful PPA Cover Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Experience working across different primary year groups
• Excellent classroom management
• An engaging and adaptable approach to teaching
