Job summary

Complete Classroom Services Ltd. in Bedford is recruiting a PPA Teacher or experienced Cover Supervisor to support KS2 classes in a primary school.

The role is four days per week with an 8:15am–3:30pm schedule and an immediate start. You will deliver lessons during teachers’ planning time, maintain continuity across KS2, and keep learners engaged with clear instructions while managing behaviour and adapting activities for varied needs.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS, or experienced Cover Supervisor.
• Experience teaching or leading classes in a primary school, ideally KS2.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexible, organised approach and confidence across year groups.
• Right to work in the UK and suitable DBS status.

PPA Teacher / Experienced Cover Supervisor – Primary School

4 days per week | 8:15am–3:30pm | Immediate Start

Complete Classroom Services (CCS) are working with a primary school to recruit aPPA Teacher providing cover predominantly across Key Stage 2. The school will also consider an experienced Cover Supervisor who can confidently lead primary classes.

This is an opportunity for someone with strong classroom management skills who enjoys working across different year groups and can quickly build positive relationships with pupils.

The role:

• Deliver lessons during teachers’ planning, preparation and assessment (PPA) time.
• Work mainly across KS2, maintaining continuity in pupils’ learning.
• Keep pupils engaged through clear instructions and an encouraging approach.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Adapt activities to meet different learning needs.
• Provide feedback to class teachers on learning, progress and any concerns.

What we are looking for:

• A qualified teacher with QTS, or an experienced Cover Supervisor with relevant classroom experience.
• Experience teaching or leading classes in a primary school, ideally within KS2.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A flexible, organised approach and confidence working across year groups.
• Availability to work four days per week and start next week.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s wellbeing.
• The right to work in the UK.
• An enhanced child workforce DBS registered with the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
