McLaren Automotive is seeking a Head of Powertrain Programmes to lead the Powertrain VLM, Integration and Series & TVM teams, delivering cross‑vehicle powertrain programmes under the McLaren Development Process. You will translate business priorities into a clear delivery strategy and oversee performance across technical content, quality, cost, timing and maturity.

• Engineering background with leadership experience in powertrain programmes.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing and purchasing.
• Strong governance, budgeting, risk management and decision-making capabilities.

Mansioni

• Own the Powertrain programme delivery strategy and plan across the portfolio.
• Be accountable for performance in technical content, quality, cost, timing and risk.
• Define targets, priorities and decision points with programme teams.
• Coordinate Function Group management to maximise synergies and ensure MDp timing.
• Manage budgets, headcount, allocations and resource constraints.
• Lead cross-functional reviews and ensure governance and evidence support gateways.
• Ensure lessons learned are captured and used to improve future programmes.
• Provide leadership and performance expectations, removing barriers and driving people development.
