Job summary

Nationwide Platforms, part of the Loxam Group, is seeking a Powered Access Customer Support Engineer at the Cosby depot. You will join a technical team handling inbound calls from customers, providing guidance and problem solving for equipment queries.

The role is based in Leicestershire, Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:30pm, with benefits including 25 days holiday, healthcare, life assurance, pension enrolment and retail discounts.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable mechanical engineering knowledge (motor/fleet/automotive industry, powered access, construction).
• Demonstrable problem solving skills and an ability to find solutions under pressure.
• Credible communicator, oral and written, with an empathetic approach to customer service.
• Competent IT skills – MS Excel and Outlook with the ability to learn and operate internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Take calls from internal and external customers as a first response to queries about our machines.
• Provide helpful advice and guidance to resolve issues efficiently.
• Help customers and colleagues with engineering knowledge and practical solutions.
• Maintain professional communication and document interactions clearly.
