Symmetry Recruitment in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Powered Access Engineer with the potential to step into a senior, supervisory or workshop leadership role. This hands-on position combines technical fault diagnosis and repair with leading engineers, coordinating workshop activity and upholding high safety and quality standards.

You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults, service and maintain powered access equipment, allocate workload and support breakdowns

Qualifications

Hands-on engineer with supervisory/leadership aspirations.
Experience diagnosing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults in powered access equipment.
Proven ability to lead a team and coordinate workshop activity.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills; good health and safety practice.

Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of engineers.
Diagnose complex faults in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Service, maintain and repair powered access equipment.
Allocate workload and manage workshop priorities.
Support breakdowns and technical queries.
Ensure equipment is inspected and ready for hire.
Maintain health & safety and quality standards.
