Job summary

Speedy Hire PLC is seeking a Mobile Powered Access Engineer to service, repair and refurbish powered access equipment across Tamworth and surrounding areas. You will attend emergency breakdowns and planned maintenance to ensure safe, reliable equipment and high service levels.

Working Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with opportunities for training and progression within the Speedy Group and a range of employee benefits.

Qualifications

• CAP registration or equivalent.
• Experience servicing powered access equipment.
• Ability to fault find and diagnose issues.
• Reading electrical/hydraulic diagrams and understanding both systems.

Responsibilities

• Ideally CAP registered.
• Service, refurbishment and maintenance of powered access equipment.
• Attend emergency breakdowns and planned maintenance.
• Read electrical/hydraulic drawings and diagnose faults.
• Support the business unit to deliver ESG Strategy.

Job Title

Mobile Powered Access Engineer -Tamworth - Monday to Friday - 45 Hours

As a Mobile Powered Access Engineer covering Tamworth and surrounding areas, you will be responsible for the service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of our powered access equipment based at our customer's sites. We offer our customers the highest level of care, therefore this role will involve attending emergency breakdown calls as well as scheduled service maintenance. You will ensure that our customers are using safe and reliable equipment so that they can count on us to deliver customer excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Ideally be CAP registered
• Previous experience in working on powered access equipment such as Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie and JLG would be an advantage
• Experience in estimating repairs to be carried out with a keen eye for detail
• Experience in fault finding and diagnostics
• Able to read electrical / hydraulic drawings, understanding both systems
• Previous engineering experience within powered access
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.
