Job summary

Speedy Hire plc is seeking a Mobile Powered Access Engineer to service, maintain and repair powered access equipment across customer sites. You will diagnose faults in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and attend breakdowns, ensuring equipment remains safe and ready for action.

The role requires experience in powered access or plant engineering, strong fault-finding skills, and a valid UK driving licence. CAP registration is advantageous.

• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum, dependent on experience

What you’ll be doing

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing powered access equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Attending breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance.
• Working with leading brands including Genie, JLG, Skyjack and Niftylift.
• Keeping equipment safe, reliable and ready for action.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in Powered Access, Plant or a similar engineering environment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• CAP registration would be an advantage.
