Job summary

X-Hire.com is seeking an experienced Powered Access Depot Manager / Transport Planner in Manchester to oversee all aspects of the depot operations. In this role, you will manage a team of drivers, plan effective delivery routes, and ensure operational performance aligns with Health & Safety standards.

• Strong understanding of logistics, operations, and sales.
• Proven ability to manage a large team and ensure operational excellence.
• Adaptable to fast-paced, changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of drivers to drive operational performance.
• Plan and coordinate delivery and collection routes.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
• Coach and develop depot employees.
• Liaise with sales team and maintain high standards of customer service.
