Job summary

Speedy Powered Access, part of the Speedy group, is seeking a Depot Engineering Manager in the Tamworth area. You will lead the service team responsible for the maintenance, repairs and refurbishment of our powered access fleet, ensuring safety and efficiency in every job.

The role supports flexible working patterns and a strong work/life balance. The ideal candidate has CAP registration with 5+ years in powered access, a full UK driving licence, and hands-on experience with major access brands.

Qualifications

• CAP registered with minimum 5 years in powered access
• Full UK Driving Licence held
• Experience with Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie, Haulotte and JLG machines
• Ability to estimate repairs with attention to detail
• Strong fault finding and diagnostics skills
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic drawings
• Ensure fleet remains compliant and ready for hire
• Proven ability to manage a team and priorities effectively
• Support ESG strategy and long-term business goals

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Powered Access Service Engineers on a day-to-day basis
• Oversee repairs, refurbishment, and maintenance of the fleet
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team and customers
• Ensure safety, compliance, and efficient service delivery
