Job summary

JL Renewable Solutions is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to strengthen the commercial team across London and the South East. Based from a South East London office, you will manage a busy portfolio of HV infrastructure projects, focusing on commercial performance and risk management.

You will work closely with Commercial Managers and project teams, delivering valuations, cashflow forecasting and final accounts while supporting multiple live schemes in the region.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial QS experience in power, utilities, infrastructure or similar contracting environment.
• Experience managing CVRs and project commercial performance.
• Understanding NEC and/or bespoke contracts.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage project commercial performance and CVRs.
• Review contracts and identify commercial risk.
• Support projects through pre-construction and delivery.
• Prepare and manage valuations and applications.
• Manage variations and commercial notices.
• Monitor project cashflow, cost and profitability.
• Support subcontractor and supply-chain management.
• Collaborate with Project Managers across live projects.
• Provide accurate commercial reporting and forecasting.
• Support final accounts and project close-out.
