Job summary

Atlassian Williams F1 Team offers an Industrial Placement based at our Grove campus in Oxfordshire. You’ll take on real responsibility with projects that shape the future car and our business, gaining 12 months of hands‑on experience and industry exposure.

You’ll collaborate with aero, vehicle dynamics, manufacturing and simulation teams, applying CAD concepts and design thinking to integrate power unit parts and drive performance on track.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace or related engineering.
• Some experience with CAD is useful, but full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail car components, balancing weight, strength and cost.
• Support structural and functional calculations that back up designs.
• Work with aerodynamics, chassis, electronics and production teams to fit power unit parts into the car.
• Investigate faults and drive issues to a fix with resilience.
