Job summary

At Atlassian Williams F1 Team, our Industrial Placement offers ambitious students a 12-month immersion in Formula 1, with real responsibility on projects shaping the future car and our business. You’ll sit with Direct Procurement, buying technically complex components from specialist suppliers to Williams’ standards, ensuring performance, reliability and safety.

Based at our Grove campus in Oxfordshire, you’ll source parts, raise POs, track schedules and support supplier reviews to keep build,

Qualifications

Working towards a degree in business, supply chain, engineering or a related subject.
Strong analytical and numerical skills; proficient in Excel.
Clear communication and ability to manage supplier relationships.
Accurate, organised and proactive with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Source and purchase components linked to car build and performance.
Raise purchase orders and manage confirmations, delivery schedules and supplier communication.
Track part status to meet deadlines for build phases, testing and races.
Support supplier performance reviews, data analysis and issue resolution.
Analyse quotes, cost breakdowns and commercial data to aid negotiations.
