Job summary

Join Atlassian Williams F1 Team's Industrial Placement in Assembly and Test & Validation, where you’ll work hands-on with expert technicians to support the build and maintenance of race-ready vehicles.

You’ll help integrate mechanical and electrical systems, contribute to component sign-off and servicing, and ensure every part meets the highest standards of safety, precision, and performance during a 12-month placement at our Grove campus in Oxfordshire.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in mechanical, motorsport, automotive engineering or related field.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, build manuals and engineering documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on engineering interest.
• Excellent attention to detail, good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support the assembly of mechanical, hydraulic, and chassis components to engineering specification
• Prepare, kit, and organise the parts needed for build and sub-assembly stations
• Work from build manuals and technical drawings, and help inspect components against quality standards
• Set up workstations and tooling for upcoming builds, upgrades, and test events, and join team debriefs
