Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Power Transmission & Distribution team for an overhead line upgrade project operating from Tealing to Aytlh, with a base in Dundee. You will coordinate engineered solutions, guide on-site teams, and ensure high-voltage line upgrades are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

The role requires an electrical/engineering background, people management skills, and a willingness to work away from home.

Qualifications

• Electrical or engineering degree preferred.
• Experience in Utilities/Construction Industry is a plus.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams to solutions.
• Willing to work away from home on site locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engineered solutions for the OHL upgrade.
• Safely deliver activity to programme, cost and quality.
• Monitor and record works for timely compliance.
• Support and foster an environment for the working party to thrive.
• Manage and develop people delivering the work.
