Balfour Beatty plc in Elgin is seeking a Planning Engineer to lead the project programme for Power Transmission & Distribution. The role is based in the Elgin office with a minimum of four days in the office weekly, focusing on updating, monitoring, and reporting on the project schedule.

You will work with project teams to maintain a fully linked Primavera P6 programme, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure resources and progress are captured accurately for weekly and monthly reports.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in planning tools, preferably Primavera P6, on large projects.
• Experience managing construction projects and applying project management methodology.
• Ability to work with engineering and operational teams to capture real time progress.

Aufgaben

• Plan, structure and lead the planning of the project programme of works.
• Manage interface between programme and operational staff through meetings and reporting.
• Highlight dependencies and interfaces between stakeholders.
• Identify programme risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Identify opportunities and capture strategies.
• Maintain a fully logically linked Primavera P6 project programme.
• Ensure schedule is resourced and updated with execution changes.
• Update and report progress to the Regional Planning Manager and Project Manager.
• Report on resources including staff, operatives, plant and equipment, and supply chain.
