JAM is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to develop LV and HV electrical systems for power generation, distribution and battery energy storage projects in the UK. You will work with Design Engineers and clients to produce designs and technical documentation from concept through construction and as-built stages.
The role requires experience in electrical power systems across LV and HV design, knowledge of Amtech sizing, and proficiency with AutoCAD, with strong liaison to DNOs and grid

You will be responsible for the design and development of LV and HV electrical systems, supporting projects across power generation, distribution and battery energy storage.
Working closely with Design Engineers, Project Managers, suppliers, DNOs and clients, you will produce electrical designs and technical documentation from initial design through to construction and as-built stages.

The successful candidate should have experience within electrical power systems and be comfortable working across both LV and HV design.
Relevant experience should include:
Experience within BESS, distributed generation, power generation, grid connection or DNO-connected projects would be particularly relevant.
