Job summary

Reactive Technologies Limited in London is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to support delivery and development of GridVerix-based monitoring solutions across global electricity networks. You will work with senior engineers and project teams in a hybrid UK office setup to shape technical studies and product improvements.

The role offers opportunities to specialise in power system stability, grid analytics, and emerging energy technologies with utilities, TSOs and market participants worldwide.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in Power Systems Engineering with up to 2 years of industry experience.
• Experience with power system modelling and dynamic simulations.
• Knowledge of grid stability and inverter-based energy integration.
• Programming exposure (Python or MATLAB).
• Experience in an R&D environment is a plus.
• Client-facing and tender-response experience.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of power system monitoring and analysis projects.
• Undertake power system studies and technical assessments.
• Contribute to technical reports and customer presentations.
• Translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Support project planning, estimation and risk identification.
• Assist development of analytical and monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Research, Product, Delivery and Commercial teams.
• Share knowledge and drive quality improvements.
