You will work onsite, contributing to durability studies of power system components using servo-hydraulic frames, shakers, and rigs. You will gain hands-on experience with instrumentation like strain gauges, accelerometers, laser vibrometers, and motion cameras, while collaborating with experts to co-create tests

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a degree program in Engineering or a related STEM discipline (including Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry).

Responsibilities

  • Define durability of components and systems used in Cummins power systems with various test rigs.
  • Access to state-of-the-art test facilities and opportunity to co-create tests with mentoring from engineering team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to select instrumentation for experiments and demonstrate underlying physics.
  • Share findings with colleagues around the world to strengthen communication and teamwork.
