Job summary

Elastic Ltd. is recruiting a Power Systems Engineer to join a specialist Building Services & Low Carbon Engineering Consultancy. The role covers LV to 132kV distribution networks, substations, network modelling, and embedded generation with G99 experience.

You will engage with DNOs, produce technical reports and support projects across diverse sectors. You will contribute to design, analysis and reporting, with mentoring from senior engineers and opportunities for career progression in a growing

Qualifications

• Degree in Power Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience within an electrical/power systems engineering environment.
• Experience with ETAP, IPSA+, ERACS, PowerFactory, Trimble, ElectricalOM or similar.
• Revit advantageous but not essential.
• Understanding of load flow, fault level and protection studies.
• Embedded generation / G99 knowledge highly advantageous.
• Strong technical and client-facing communication skills.

• Site surveys, commissioning support and installation inspections.

I’m recruiting for a Power Systems Engineer to join a dedicated specialist Power Systems team within a well-established and growing Building Services & Low Carbon Engineering Consultancy.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with experience in power systems, electrical distribution and network modelling who wants exposure to technically challenging projects across a wide variety of sectors.

You’ll work on everything from LV and HV distribution networks through to embedded generation, substations, protection studies and resilient power systems.

The role:

• Electrical distribution network design from LV up to 132kV
• Distribution substation and cable network design
