Job summary

Blue Pelican is seeking an experienced Power Platform / D365 CE Specialist for a 6-month contract to drive automated processes and UI-driven integrations across core enterprise systems. The role centers on Robotic Process Automation using Power Automate Desktop as the core priority, alongside enhancing the People Portal ecosystem with Canvas Apps, Dataverse, and Power Automate Cloud Flows.

You will lead design, build and support of desktop automations and work with ESR, SharePoint and Azure

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience in PAD for enterprise automation.
• Strong skills in Power Apps (Canvas Apps), Dataverse, and Cloud Flows.
• Experience producing technical designs, code reviews and production support.

Responsibilities

• Develop PAD automations for ESR processing and data updates.
• Create reusable integration components and monitoring.
• Design, build and support the People Portal Canvas App and Dataverse tables.
• Develop Power Automate Cloud Flows for HR processes and system integrations.

About the Role

My client seeking an experienced Power Platform / D365 CE Specialist for a 6-month contract focused heavily on driving automated processes and UI-driven integrations across core enterprise systems.

While this role spans the broader Power Platform suite—including Canvas Apps, Dataverse, and system integrations—deep expertise in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using Power Automate Desktop (PAD) is essential and serves as the core priority for this contract. You will lead the design, build, and support of desktop automations, alongside delivering key enhancements to our People Portal ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Robotic Process & Desktop Automations (Primary Focus):
  • Develop and support Power Automate Desktop (PAD) automations specifically for ESR transaction processing and data updates.
  • Create reusable integration components, PAD frameworks, exception handling routines, and robust monitoring capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across PAD solutions and desktop flows.
• Canvas App & Dataverse Development:
  • Design, develop, and support the People Portal Canvas App, including Dataverse tables, business logic, and user experience enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain Power Automate Cloud Flows supporting HR business processes and system integrations.
• Integrations & Architecture:
  • Design and implement integrations between the People Portal, FinOps, ESR, SharePoint, and Azure services.
  • Produce technical specifications, solution designs, deployment documentation, and support artifacts.

Key Requirements & Skills

• Essential: Deep hands-on experience in Power Automate Desktop (PAD) for enterprise process automation and transaction processing.
• Strong proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas Apps), Dataverse, and Power Automate Cloud Flows.
• Strong background in producing technical design documentation, code reviews, and end-to-end production support.
