Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking a Power Platform Developer for a 6‑month contract, with 2 days per week onsite in Manchester. You will design, build, test and support Power Platform solutions that automate business processes and deliver measurable value.

You will work within agile delivery teams to develop applications, automations and digital services using Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and related Microsoft technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience building Power Apps canvas apps and model‑driven apps.
• Experience designing Power Automate cloud flows and Dataverse models.
• Knowledge of Power BI reporting and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Develop Power Apps, Power Automate flows and Dataverse solutions per requirements.
• Support end‑to‑end Power Platform products and services.
• Translate user stories into working technical solutions.
• Configure apps, flows and dashboards across the platform.
• Build integrations between Power Platform and enterprise systems.

Summary

As a Power Platform Developer you will:

• Design, build, test and support Power Platform solutions that improve services, automate business processes and deliver measurable value.
• Work within agile delivery teams to develop applications, automations and digital services using Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
• Apply strong technical knowledge across Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and related Microsoft technologies to deliver secure, scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with Functional Consultants, Business Analysts, Technical Architects and end users to transform business requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, technical standards and engineering best practices across delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop Power Apps, Power Automate flows and Dataverse solutions in line with agreed requirements and designs.
• Support the delivery of end-to-end Power Platform products and services.
• Translate functional requirements and user stories into working technical solutions.
• Configure and customise Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps and Power Automate workflows.
• Build and maintain integrations between Power Platform and enterprise systems.
• Participate in solution design discussions and technical workshops.
• Perform system testing, defect resolution and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support incident resolution.
• Contribute to code reviews, peer reviews and continuous improvement activities.
• Support implementation of ALM and DevOps practices.
• Produce technical documentation and support materials.
• Maintain awareness of Power Platform capabilities and emerging technologies.
