Power Platform and Integration Developer

We are seeking a Power Platform and Integration Developer based in Aberdeen.

The developer reports to the Analytics and Integration Lead and plays a key role in the integration capacity of the team. Responsibilities include developing Power Apps, automations with Power Automate, and ensuring these tools are central to our business application and data integration processes.

Main Responsibilities

1. Supporting Analytics and Integration Program: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance application footprint, integration, and automation techniques.
2. Stay Updated with Innovations: Keep abreast of best practices in data engineering, low-code application development, and automation technologies.
3. Analyze, Model, and Organize Workflows: Work with stakeholders to understand workflows and design applications and automations that deliver high value.
4. Ensure Quality and Reliability: Improve application quality, understand user interactions, and ensure effective downstream workflows with proper data validation and controls.
5. Maintain Data Governance: Follow data policies, maintain data lineage and cataloging.
6. Document Support and Processes: Keep documentation accurate and comprehensive for team support.
7. Lead New Projects: Initiate, design, and manage lifecycle of integration projects from development to production.
8. Performance Monitoring: Optimize workflows and applications for performance, and communicate impacts of performance issues.

Experience Required

• Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and integration tools.
• Experience with APIs such as REST, SOAP, OData.
• Passion for automation and integration; industry experience not required.
