Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in power generation or transferable experience is essential.
• Experience with laboratory analysis equipment and techniques is essential.
• Strong numeracy and literacy with problem-solving skills.
• Proficient IT/IS skills including MS Office and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, analyse, and report environmental performance data daily, incl. ETS monitoring and reporting.
• Manage physical security contracts and water analysis programmes, ensuring contractor performance and regulatory compliance.
• Provide direct supervision to ensure HS&E standards and site compliance.
• Assist in operating the Permit to Work (PTW) system and safety procedures.
• Perform routine inspections/tests to plant items and maintain logs for compliance.
• Coordinate commercial data and liaise with traders and National Grid during shifts.
• Maintain awareness of asset conditions and ensure handovers between shifts for safe operations.
• Notify and act on issues affecting HS&E and production capability.
