Job summary

NAES United Kingdom is seeking an O&M Technician to support safe, efficient operation of our power generation assets in Peterborough. You will monitor plant and equipment, respond to alarms, perform routine and corrective maintenance, and manage work via CMMS, coordinating with contractors and internal teams.

This full-time, on-site role requires a technical engineering qualification, familiarity with permit-to-work systems and RAMS, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical qualification in engineering.
• Experience in operations and/or mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of CMMS for work requests and scheduling.
• Working knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.
• Experience coordinating or supervising third‑party contractors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee plant operations for safe, efficient performance.
• Carry out local operation of plant and equipment.
• Respond to alarms and faults and take corrective action.
• Perform planned and corrective maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Utilise CMMS to report faults and schedule activities.
• Supervise work by contractors and ensure RAMS and permits.
• Maintain site housekeeping and safety standards.
