Job summary

NAES United Kingdom is seeking an O&M Technician to support safe, efficient operation and high asset availability at the Peterborough facilities. You will monitor plant performance, respond to alarms, and perform routine maintenance, using CMMS to manage work orders and coordinate with contractors.

The role involves occasional travel to other WhiteTower sites, adherence to UK safety standards, and a Monday–Friday day-shift pattern with potential extended hours to support plant operations.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical qualification in an engineering discipline (NVQ 3, ONC, HNC or equivalent).
• Experience in operations and/or mechanical maintenance within power generation or heavy industry.
• Practical knowledge of CMMS, safety rules, permit-to-work and LOTO practices.
• UK driving licence required and maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate plant safely and efficiently to ensure asset availability.
• Carry out planned and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and systems.
• Use CMMS to raise work requests, plan activities, and manage stock and procurement.
• Coordinate with contractors, ensuring RAMS, permits, and isolation procedures are followed.
• Travel to other sites within the WhiteTower portfolio as required.
