Job summary

ARCA Consulting Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Power Infrastructure (T&D) in Gloucester. Hybrid working arrangement available with nationwide travel including overnight stays where required.

You will lead multi-site projects from start to finish, coordinating NEC4 ECC delivery, risks, budgets, and subcontractors while liaising with clients such as National Grid. The role requires 4+ years in project management within TO/DNO or utility infrastructure, proven delivery of

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Project Management experience, ideally incl. TO, DNO or utility infra.
• Proven delivery of £1m-£10m projects or major workstreams.
• Strong knowledge of NEC4 ECC and compensation events.
• Experience leading site teams and managing subcontractors and commercial performance.
• Experience across substations, OHL, HV cables or related civils.
• National Grid or major utility client experience is desirable.
• CEMAR or NEC contract management experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of projects typically valued at £1m-£10m.
• Manage programmes, budgets, risk, and subcontractors.
• Manage NEC4 ECC, including early warnings and compensation events.
• Lead site teams and coordinate multiple subcontractors.
• Manage CVR, forecasting, P&L and risk/opportunity.
• Engage with clients including National Grid.
• Coordinate outage and access requirements.
• Ensure safe delivery through CPP, RAMS and H&S processes.
