Job summary

CHG Electrical in Sheffield is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to own the day-to-day delivery of multiple civil engineering projects across the UK. You will combine technical understanding with commercial awareness, leading projects, coordinating teams, and ensuring safe, on-time and budget-compliant delivery.

The role requires utilities and infrastructure experience, full UK driving licence, and a proactive, ownership-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Proven civil project delivery experience within utilities and infrastructure.
• Experience managing complex programmes, budgets and resources.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering and construction methods.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of multiple civil engineering projects.
• Plan and manage project teams, resources, subcontractors and materials.
• Monitor programmes, budgets, risks and variations.
• Ensure technical delivery meets project scope, specifications and compliance requirements.
• Provide progress reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
