Job summary

Edina is seeking an Operations Engineer to join the Rebuild Team, with responsibility for service, maintenance and repairs on gas and diesel engines across Great Britain. The role offers progression, a clear training path, and a competitive package with vehicle plus enhanced pension.

The position requires limited travel, on-call responsibilities, and a focus on safety and technical excellence within the renewable energy sector.

Qualifications

• ONC/HNC, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of gas and/or diesel engines.
• Ability to work independently and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Flexible travel: up to two weeks away, including weekends and out-of-hours.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and repairs on gas and diesel engines.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting on power generation equipment.
• Planning maintenance, parts and resources to ensure efficient repairs.
• Working on customer sites across Great Britain.
• Participating in an on-call rota and attending breakdowns.
• Completing service reports and maintaining health and safety standards.
