Job summary
Mitchell Maguire is seeking an Area Sales Manager for power generation to cover the South and North regions in the UK. You will drive field sales of generators, light towers, and battery storage solutions, targeting plant hire companies, rental firms, and resellers.
The role requires proven success selling power generation equipment, strong communication, and the ability to travel. A performance-based bonus scheme enhances a competitive base salary of £45k-£55k with opportunities for stretch
Qualifications
- Proven track record selling power generation equipment.
- Experience with light towers or battery storage is a plus.
- Background in construction hire equipment or allied products is desirable.
- Able to work independently and travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Field sales: sell generators from small mobile units to large industrial diesel/gas generators.
- Promote light towers and battery storage solutions.
- Sell into plant hire companies, rental firms, and resellers/distributors.
- Budget management and achievement of area turnover targets.
- Internal reporting using CRM (Salesforce) systems.
- Forecasting and sales analysis.
- Negotiate and prepare commercial offers.
