Job summary
Arqiva is seeking an Engineer for Power & Environment - Groundworks to implement and troubleshoot electrical and environmental infrastructure across our corporate, broadcast, transmission, satellite and smart utilities networks. The role requires hands-on maintenance, testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
The position involves travel around the West Midlands, with a strong focus on safety, regulatory compliance and delivering reliable power solutions.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Power Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency with power and environment engineering practices.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical and environmental systems.
- Test and validate new power and environment solutions.
- Manage risks per Risk Management Process and ensure safety compliance.
- Plan and execute projects, supervise 3rd parties and contractors.
- Stay updated on latest electrical engineering developments.
- Respond to faults and outages with timely corrective actions.
- Complete electrical maintenance across systems and networks.
