Job summary

Speedy Services is seeking a Power Engineer in Southampton with a flexible, family-friendly approach to hours. The role covers servicing and repairing generators (20–1400 kva range) and compressors, with emphasis on maintaining fleet reliability and supporting ESG initiatives.

A mix of office and field responsibilities is expected. Applicants should have a full driving licence, proven equipment maintenance experience, good IT skills, and strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• Experience maintaining and repairing similar equipment.
• Good computer skills, including MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible approach to hours and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair generators and related equipment as required.
• Maintain compressors (260–1500 cfm) and Stage V engines where applicable.
• Support the business unit to deliver ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
• Work solo or as part of a team to meet daily targets.
