Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a capable Business Analyst to extract data from multiple Trust systems, develop queries, and produce dashboards and performance reports for operational and corporate teams.

You will coordinate improvement projects, supervise assistants, and present complex findings to staff, with flexible working and travel across the Trust.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate-level education or NHS experience.
• Evidence of CPD to postgraduate diploma level or equivalent.
• Demonstrable experience in a similar reporting/analysis role.
• Experience working independently in a role that required initiative.

Responsabilités

• Extract data from multiple Trust systems and analyse data requirements.
• Develop and test queries and code to produce complex analysis.
• Produce and maintain regular performance reports, flagging risk and improvements.
• Coordinate performance reporting to commissioners and Trust-wide reports.
• Design and maintain dashboards and reporting processes.
• Present findings and explain targets to staff.
• Support managers and clinicians to meet national targets.
• Coordinate improvement projects with milestones and timescales.
• Lead development of health data sets aligned with policy.
• Supervise and coach assistants, including coverage for team members.
• Monitor improvements and resolve data quality issues.
• Develop policies, contribute to new information systems, liaise with external agencies.
