Power BI Developer

London (Jamestown) | Hybrid
Permanent | Full-time

As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for creating, designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and datasets using multiple data sources, enabling stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Report Development & Maintenance
  • Create new Power BI reports and dashboards and enhance the existing suite to meet evolving business needs.
  • Ensure reports are accurate, intuitive, and aligned with finance and wider business requirements.
Data Integration
  • Integrate data from multiple sources to deliver comprehensive and insightful reporting solutions.
Data Platforms & Support
  • Support the creation and ongoing management of Datamarts and Lakehouses, ensuring the finance team and other users have access to reliable data for analysis and reporting.
Collaboration
  • Work closely with the finance team and key stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and data analysts to ensure seamless data integration, strong data quality, and efficient data pipelines.
Performance Optimisation
  • Optimise the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure fast and efficient data retrieval.
Documentation
  • Maintain clear and thorough documentation covering report development processes, data sources, and data models.

  • Knowledge of SQL and other database technologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and Word
