Job summary

PD&MS Group in Aberdeen seeks a BI specialist with extensive experience in the Microsoft BI stack and Microsoft Fabric to design, develop and maintain Power BI reports and data models. You will work across data warehousing efforts, ensuring data quality and secure, scalable solutions in a hybrid environment.

The role requires a degree in a relevant subject (masters preferred) and strong English communication.

Qualifications

Requires significant experience using Microsoft Fabric and the Microsoft BI Stack (Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS).
Demonstrable experience in data preparation, data warehousing and BI projects.
Experience using Microsoft BI stack; knowledge of scripting languages and SQL Server is preferred.
Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Leverage Microsoft Power BI to generate, operate and maintain BI applications.
Provide actionable insights by creating coherent, useful reports from raw data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to BI strategy.
Ensure effective deployment pipelines and data warehousing solutions.
Engage with stakeholders to understand BI requirements and align solutions with business goals.
Design and develop data models for performance, scalability and best practices.
