Job summary

GMCA is seeking a Data & MI Officer to join the EWS Data & MI Function on a nine-month fixed-term basis in Manchester. You will develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, validate complex data and turn reporting needs into clear outputs, working with stakeholders and programme teams.

The role emphasizes data quality, MI reporting, and improvements to reporting processes, with a hands-on, ownership-style position in a developing directorate-wide function.

Qualifications

• Experience producing management information or analytical outputs from large datasets.
• Practical experience developing or maintaining Power BI reports or dashboards.
• Strong Excel and data-handling skills; ability to check data quality and document how reports work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting datasets; validate and reconcile complex data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to turn reporting requirements into clear, usable outputs.
• Contribute to recurring MI and GMS/Integrated Settlement reporting, documentation and quality assurance; reduce manual processing.
