Cooper Parry is seeking a Data Analyst with strong Power BI skills to fuel our ambition as a leading mid-market tech and data-led accountancy firm. You will transform data into actionable insights, develop dashboards, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to shape reporting and decision-making.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of proven experience in a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Reporting Analyst or similar analytics-focused role.
• Strong Power BI development experience, including data modelling, DAX, Power Query and report design.
• Experience working with integrating data from multiple systems.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Understanding of ETL processes and data transformation techniques.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, data warehousing technologies, or similar modern data platforms.
• Strong understanding of data visualisation principles and best practices.
• Ability to analyse complex datasets and communicate findings clearly.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing, maintaining and enhancing Power BI dashboards.
• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and KPIs.
• Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, risks and insights.
• Translate datasets into clear visuals and reporting.
• Support data-driven decision making across operations, commercial and strategy.
• Extract, transform and validate data from multiple sources.
• Optimize data models, Power Query transformations and reporting performance.
• Ensure data accuracy and reporting standards.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
