Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Power BI Development Manager to lead enterprise reporting across Group Investment Management (GIM). The role blends technical leadership with hands-on BI development, shaping standards, governance and the analytics roadmap for the function.

Reporting to the GIM Dashboards Owner, you will drive delivery, scale reporting architecture and partner with Data Engineering to enable trusted insights for investment planning and portfolio management.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Power BI experience with advanced DAX, Power Query, semantic modelling and performance optimisation.
• Strong SQL/SQL Server knowledge, data warehousing, dimensional modelling and data transformation.
• Experience designing and supporting scalable reporting solutions with governance, testing, security and release management.
• Proven experience leading technical or analytics teams and supporting their growth.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and influence senior decision-makers.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments and delivering measurable business value.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Power BI professionals with coaching and clear delivery priorities.
• Manage the reporting roadmap, backlog and delivery commitments while maintaining service quality.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate reporting needs into practical solutions with clear recommendations.
• Design, build and optimise Power BI dashboards, semantic models, DAX calculations and reporting architecture.
• Partner with Data Engineering to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.
• Establish reporting standards, governance, testing and release controls to improve quality.
• Resolve complex reporting and performance issues to improve usability and efficiency.
