Job summary

Interaction Recruitment are working with a well-established metalworking business in Baldock to recruit a Powder Coating Operative for the production team. You will prepare components, ensure surfaces are ready for coating, handle components safely and inspect finished work.

The role is permanent and full-time with overtime available and training provided for the right candidate, within a friendly and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in powder coating, metal finishing, manufacturing or workshop environments preferred.
• Good eye for detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Ability to work with tools and machinery and perform manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal components for powder coating and ensure surfaces are properly prepared.
• Handle and move components safely and efficiently.
• Inspect finished products to meet quality standards.
• Assist with general production and workshop duties.
• Keep the coating area clean and organised.
• Follow health & safety procedures and work as part of a team to meet daily targets.
