Job summary

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting a Powder Coating Operative in Baldock, Hertfordshire. This permanent, full-time role offers training and development, with overtime available. The successful candidate will prepare metal components for coating and work to high quality standards within a busy production environment.

Salary up to £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience. The role requires a hands-on attitude, reliability and teamwork, with full training provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous powder coating experience is advantageous.
• Good eye for detail and pride in quality.
• Experience working with tools and machinery is beneficial.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal components for powder coating.
• Ensure surfaces are prepared to the required standard.
• Handle and move metal components safely.
• Inspect finished products for quality.
• Assist with general production and workshop duties.
• Keep the powder coating area clean and organized.
• Follow all health & safety procedures.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
• Support other workshop areas when required.
