Job summary

Advanced Resourcing Ltd. is seeking a skilled operator for powder coating processes in a UK-based facility. You will prepare surfaces, operate coating equipment, and maintain tools to ensure consistent quality across components.

The role requires experience with overhead cranes, welding, and safety procedures in industrial settings, with preference for previous warehouse or manufacturing background. Shift patterns include nights.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge and experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Overhead crane experience is essential.
• Basic maths skills for measurements during coating processes.
• Background in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
• Experience with surface preparation, spray painting, or powder coating is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking as required.
• Operate powder coating equipment safely and efficiently, applying coatings evenly across components.
• Maintain and calibrate spray guns and other application tools to ensure consistent quality.
• Inspect finished products for defects, colour consistency, and adherence to specifications.
• Assist with surface preparation tasks such as blasting or priming when necessary.
• Keep work areas clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations.
