Job summary

Advanced Resourcing Ltd in the West Midlands is seeking a dedicated Paint sprayer and overhead crane operative to join our manufacturing team in the Brierly Hill area. You will coat metal components using powder coatings and paint spraying, ensuring high-quality finishes and compliance with safety standards.

The role includes surface preparation, spray equipment maintenance, crane operation, and working nights 5:30pm–6am Monday to Thursday.

Qualifications

Mechanical knowledge and experience with hand tools, power tools, and welding processes.
Overhead crane experience is essential.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during coating processes.
Previous warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to operate welding equipment and use various hand tools effectively.
Knowledge of safety procedures related to powder coating and industrial environments.
Prior experience with surface preparation, spray painting, or powder coating advantageous.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking as required.
Operate powder coating equipment safely and efficiently, applying coatings evenly across components.
Maintain and calibrate spray guns and other application tools to ensure consistent quality.
Inspect finished products for defects, colour consistency, and adherence to specifications.
Assist with surface preparation tasks such as blasting or priming when necessary.
Keep work areas clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations.
