Job summary

XPERT RECRUITMENT SOLUTIONS LIMITED is seeking a Trainee Powder Coater to join our client’s production team in the United Kingdom. No prior powder coating experience is required as full training will be provided; you will learn surface preparation, finishing and general production duties.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role requiring lifting and moving heavy items, with Monday to Thursday 7am–4pm and early finish on Fridays. Immediate interviews and starts available.

Qualifications

• No previous powder coating experience required; full training provided.
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, engineering or labouring experience beneficial.
• Must be physically fit and capable of regular heavy lifting.
• Willingness to learn how to safely use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal components prior to powder coating (cleaning, sanding, grinding).
• Lift, carry and move heavy components safely.
• Load and unload large items from production areas and coating equipment.
• Assist with hanging, positioning and removing components for coating.
• Operate powder coating equipment once trained.
• Perform basic fabrication/assembly when required.
• Carry out quality checks on finished products.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Work as part of a team to meet production targets.
• Follow health and safety procedures when handling heavy materials.
