Job summary

The Best Connection in the Kidderminster area is seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join a well-established manufacturer. This full-time role offers daytime hours with Monday to Friday shifts and ongoing work with the potential for permanent employment. Weekly pay and pension contributions are provided.

You will prepare surfaces, apply powder coatings, perform quality checks, and help maintain a clean, safe workspace in line with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Powder coating experience required.
• Keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow production instructions and adhere to schedules.
• Good awareness of health and safety practices.
• Must be able to undertake manual handling and stay on feet during shift.

Responsibilities

• Preparing metal components and surfaces for coating.
• Applying powder coatings to products to a high-quality finish.
• Cleaning, masking and inspecting materials prior to coating.
• Loading and unloading items onto coating lines and racks.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures.

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Powder Coater to join a well-established manufacturer based in the Kidderminster area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for a full-time, ongoing position with regular daytime hours.

Duties will include:

• Preparing metal components and surfaces ready for coating
• Applying powder coatings to a range of products to a high-quality finish
• Cleaning, masking and inspecting materials prior to coating
• Loading and unloading items onto coating lines and racks
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure customer specifications are met
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous powder coating experience
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing quality work
• The ability to follow instructions and work to production schedules
• Good awareness of health and safety practices
• The ability to undertake manual handling duties and remain on their feet throughout the shift
