Job summary

The Best Connection in Aston is seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join a leading automotive manufacturer. You will prepare metal components, apply powder coatings with electrostatic spray, inspect finishes, and maintain equipment on a Monday–Friday 2pm–10pm shift.

Previous powder coating experience in a manufacturing setting is essential; automotive sector familiarity is a plus. Emphasis on quality, safety, and teamwork throughout the production process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Powder Coater within a manufacturing environment.
• Automotive industry experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with coating metals such as steel and aluminum.
• Understanding of powder coating techniques and finishing processes.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.

• Preparing metal components for powder coating.
• Applying powder coatings using electrostatic spray equipment.
• Ensuring a high-quality finish that meets customer specifications.
• Inspecting finished products for quality and consistency.
• Maintaining equipment and keeping the work area clean and organised.
• Following all health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Previous experience as a Powder Coater within a manufacturing environment.
• Automotive industry experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Previous experience in powder coating, spray painting
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with coating metals such as steel and aluminum.
• Understanding of powder coating techniques and finishing processes.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.

Hours of Work:

• Monday-Friday
• 2pm-10pm
